Game play starts when one player rolls the die to determine how many spaces for their Super Mario character to move along the game board. The number you land on determines how many chances you must take against the hungry Piranha Plant!

Watch out! The Piranha Plant will randomly attack and knock Mario and Luigi off of the game board.
