Locales Design Print - The Danforth

The Danforth,  is renowned for its international mix of restaurants, cafes and bars, Greek tavernas and pastry shops, and vibrant mix of specialty boutiques. The Danforth was once the largest Greek neighbourhood in North America, and many street signs are written in both Greek and English.  The annual August Taste of the Danforth, with its food stalls, live music and dancing, is one of the most popular street festivals in the city, often drawing in excess of 1.5 million people. Danforth Avenue was constructed in 1851. The Bloor Viaduct bridge, connecting the Danforth to the rest of the city, was completed in 1919.

Locales Design is the creation of Carolyn Graziani, a seasoned Graphic Designer, based in Toronto.  Carolyn's professional life has included working in the media as the Art Director at Citytv, as well as Art Direction and Design in the Advertising and Publishing industries. Each original design offers Carolyn's playful take on a colourful neighbourhood locale.
