I was buying toys for children children who live at Evangel Hall on Adelaide just east of Bathurst and at Portland Place on Portland Ave. So I do not know these children and will not see them open the gifts. I liked the explanation on the box of the Magnet 8 piece set..
Evangel Hall houses adults and some families with children in apartments.
They also offer food to those who are hungry and homeless. Rosedale Presbyterian Church cooks 3 dinners a year at Evangel Hall for 180 people (mostly take out) and helps out at Christmas with gift cards for the 52 adults at Portland Place and gifts and an article of new clothing for the 20 children living with their famiiies in these two buildings. We have been doing this for a number of years!
